City Dental LLC does business as James Street Dentistry. This policy explains how we handle information used for patient text communications. It does not replace our Notice of Privacy Practices for protected health information.

Information we collect and use. We collect your mobile number, your consent preferences, and the messages you send us. With your consent, we use this information for customer care and marketing, including appointment scheduling, confirmations and reminders, rescheduling, general patient inquiries, emergency-visit promotions, and other James Street Dentistry specials.

Your choice. You may choose to receive text messages by selecting the optional SMS consent checkbox on our Contact page form or by giving permission in our office. Texting is optional and is not a condition of receiving care. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or calling (203) 635-5882.

Sharing and protection. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be processed by providers that help us deliver messaging, or disclosed when required by law. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information.

Retention and requests. We retain information only as needed for these purposes and applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements. To request access, corrections, or deletion, call our office. Some information must be retained as required by law.

City Dental LLC does business as James Street Dentistry. City Dental LLC is the legal business name, and James Street Dentistry is the name used for our dental practice and patient communications. We provide dental services to adults and children. By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from James Street Dentistry. This includes SMS messages for customer care and marketing such as appointment scheduling, appointment confirmations and reminders, rescheduling, general patient inquiries and emergency-visit promotions, or other JSD specials. How you opt in. You may opt in by entering your mobile number and selecting the optional SMS consent checkbox on our Contact page form at https://www.jamesstreetdentistry.com/contact. Submitting the form without selecting the checkbox does not enroll you in text messages. You may also be asked for permission to receive texts when you visit our office.
